Hello, I'm a huge fan of arts and crafts and just recently learned how to make molds of my sculpts. I love dragons. I eat sleep and dream dragons 24/7 and I love creating them. I make shoulder dragons as well as little sculpey dragons that hold your dice for you. I saw you at the Dragon Festival on Saturday. you had some REALLY amazing dragons there! wish I could have bought one!
I was wondering, could you give me a brief description of the steps you take to make them? I am thinking about making a silicone mold of a clay piece so I can make resin bases and copies, but I have no ides where to start! (for a fursuit head. you can see what those are in my gallery)
Oh that's cool. Yes the ren faire doesnt seem to be a good place for my merch. more cosply oriented. anyways. I sculpt them out of a non sulfer clay and use a brush on plastic (shellshock) on top of them in thin layers until i have the right thickness let it cure get the clay out . then I brush in the silicone and let it cure. hope this helps I am by no means an expert yet lol
